Tucked away in Arizona, this family seems to resemble your average household of four. Linda runs the family dental practice with her husband during the day, and is also the owner of clothing boutique House of Posh Tots. Yet on top of all that, she’s also amassed 93K followers on Instagram @babyellestyle, where she’s known as being the stylish mom to kid-style icon Elle, as well as the newest addition to the family — baby Ever.
Linda started @babyellestyle when her daughter Elle was only a few months old. She has always enjoyed styling, but motherhood sparked her new profound passion for children’s fashion. She instantly became obsessed and wanted to share it with the world.
From there, she grew the account to share posts that showcase not only Elle’s fashion, but also her own personal mom style.
I would dare to describe [my style] as edgy classic. [However], I buy far less things for myself now with two kids, so I like to make sure most of [these items] are timeless, but can also be styled modernly. I like to think Elle’s style is [an] age-appropriate version of my own.
As a mother of two, Linda has also learned a lot about wearing clothing during different stages of motherhood.
While pregnant, my maternity style was an oversized version of my normal style. I used a belly band to be able to wear my normal jeans up until my [final] months. When I finally bought maternity jeans [I] was mad at myself for not doing it sooner. My post-pregnancy style includes lots of button-ups and high-waisted bottoms to make breastfeeding easier. [I also] sport a lower heel because running around town carrying an infant seat is harder than it looks.
Because of their love of all things fashion – and not to mention, Halloween – Linda and Elle were the perfect mother-daughter duo for us to work with to create the perfect Halloween outfit for our #TinyLittleKidClothes series! Inspired by Elle’s love for dress-up, this unicorn-themed look incorporates Linda’s appreciation for mixing whimsical costumes with fast-forward pieces.
